Precious Boy | XBox Standing Another treasure who wasn't lucky enough to find someone to appreciate just how special he was. How could someone ever neglect and mistreat such sweetheart is beyond us. We were told that XBox was left in someone's yard with no attention and very little care. Someone would come once a week to bring him food and water. We expected a scared and shy dog when he came to us, but were pleasantly surprised to meet a very loving, friendly and sweetheart of a dog. XBox is a little unsure of people's intention at first but as soon as he realizes that you don't plan on hurting or mistreating him, he thrives and turns into a bundle of love and affection. Goofy Boy... | How could you ever resist that face? | Let's Shake | Big Smile XBox is a very good dog. He keeps his kennel clean and is no trouble at all. All he wants is love and good care and he gives his whole little heart in return. XBox loves nothing more than to have a good butt-run in the yard. The look of pleasure in his eyes is priceless. This dog is so full of expression and personality. Talk about a good-spirited clown. We hope that XBox wont have to wait too long to find a loving home though, as this precious dog belongs in a home, not in a kennel. Please give him a chance. We promise you wont regret it. Sitting Nicely | Pretty Boy | Hey Good looking! | "Pete Who?" PS. One of our volunteers drew a "Petey" circle around XBox's eye on some of those pictures as he reminded her of Pete the Pup. This circle is not a permanent feature. "Will YOU Love me, please?" MY DAY WITH XBOX Xbox and I had such a good day together! I got him from the boarding facility at about eleven o'clock and he was the most perfect gentleman in the car ride home. He's better than my own dogs are during car rides. We got home and I took him for a long, long walk around my neighborhood. He was such a great boy on the leash. I didn't even think of using the gentle leader. My neighborhood is full of cats and squirrels and rabbits but Xbox showed no interest whatsoever. He seems to have little to no prey drive at all. As we were walking all the neighborhood kids oohed and ahhed at how pretty he is. They all took a turn petting him and he was very sweet and seemed to love the attention. They said when they grow up they want a pitbull too :) When we finished our walk we came home and he had the very best house manners. He didn't jump on the furniture unless invited and he didn't beg. He met Mr. Goodbar and they had the best time playing together. Mr. Goodbar loved having a new buddy for the day. They laid in the sun together for almost an hour. I am not in the habit of just introducing random pit bulls just so you all know, but anyone who knows how docile Mr. Goodbar is would understand. He plays well with others to say the very least. :) Sorry to ramble on  but I just wanted to let everyone know what a good boy we have here. He will make a very good addition to his forever family.
