Took us less than 5 minutes of meeting him to be sold.... What an awesome, sweet, adorable and irresistible little guy... A perfect representative of the breed... Inside and out...
God only knows what happened to this sweetheart... He has a lot of scars, including a pretty big one on the back. The scars look more like burns than bite wounds... Chemical burns? Road burns? We have no idea, but we can tell this gentle little dog has been to hell and back. We will do everything we can to turn his life around....

Foster Situation: Bassam is fostered in a home with a 6 year old pitbull mix female and they get along fine following a crate and rotate period and a slow introduction. He is great with kids also. He has a fenced in yard to run and play in. He does well on his walks, pulling at first but calmed down after we turned around 3 times. Lol. He does fantastic in the car. He sleeps with the adult daughter or in his crate occassionally.

Training: He seems to be pretty house broken now. He has a a few accidents (never in his kennel) but I think because he was left outside all the time previously that he doesn't know how to communicate to let us know when he needs to go outside. We are really good about letting him out about every 2-3 hours.
He is very good when told to sit and actually now he knows how to shake so when he wants your attention and praise he'll stick his paw out to let you know he wants to shake... super cute!!

Personality: He wants all of your attention. If you could pet him 5 hours straight he would let you. He is very loving and follows you around the house wanting to be a part of what you're doing. He is very friendly, playful and you can tell he would be loyal.

Best Attribute: His best attribute is how smart and super loving he is!!!!! Wants to be the center of attention :~) Bassma is a true ambassador for the breed and a dog anyone will be very proud to own.
