12/9/2005 Blue is doing wonderful (keeping his name the same), he is adjusting very well and really quickly. The first couple of days over the weekend were alittle hard, we had a couple of accidents in the house, mainly because I was not paying attention, and he didnt know where to go to get my attention that he needed to go. He's adapted to my daily routine very well. He is doing awesome in his kennel. Still a little rough getting him to go by himself, but not bad. He's eating well and starting to gain some of that lossed weight back. We go on about 5 walks every day around the neighborhood, and he's doing well on his leash. We had our first encounter with a stray dog in the neighborhood on Sunday Morning, and he did very well. The Pug was following and barking but Blue just ignored him and keep walking with me. He's met some of my friends and does very well around new people, He tries to keep their attention the entire time they are over, so it's a little hard to keep him from getting in their face to give kisses. He will be going to his first vet appointment next week for a check up and make sure nothing needs attention. -Nathan |

Jan 31, 2006 I have him setup for his vet appointment this week. I am still calling him Blue. He is doing really well. I've been working on obedience training with him for the last month or so, and he is doing very well. I have attached a few pictures that were

| Wow....!!! Drop dead gorgeous... We just cant believe we found this boy sitting hopelessly on deathrow. What's going on? Who would abandon such a gem? Sadly, this is exactly what happened to this outstanding representative of the breed. Blue Bayou is probably an AmStaff - He sure looks like a show dog. As if his unbelievable beauty was not enough, his personality matches his remarkable good looks. This boy is very fun-loving and a big teddy bear who loves attention, acts like a big baby when he wants something and is always happy to give hugs and kisses to anyone who wants his devoted attention. |

| Blue Bayou has been transferred to foster care where he is learning good manners. He is housebroken but has some difficulties with crate training. He is kept in a room when no one is home and does very well. There are two kids in his foster home, including a toddler, and several pets. Bayou is slowly integrating. He is very much a people-dog though, does well with the children but might need a little more time with other dogs. We are hoping he could learn to live with a nice and friendly female. No cats though. Here's a note from his foster mom: "Blue Bayou is big ol baby who loves to give you kisses, do butt-runs in the house, and then all you have to do is touch his belly and he will drop, roll over and play dead just so you keep rubbing his big ol white tummy. Blue Bayou is scared to death of thunder storms so he crawls up into your upper chest and makes you share your pillow with his big ol fat head. Oh yeah and I hope you like to wake up in the middle of the night with hot breathe breathing down the back of your neck because he loves to spoon with you, especially wrapping his arms over top of you ...... big ol goofy baby I tell ya ...." So there you go, the dog is an adorable goof, with the beauty of a Greek God and the personality of a teddy bear... Could you ask for more?
