Pretty Face | Sad boy | Standing | So thin.... | Diamond in the rough

What a total sweetheart this dog is. For a dog who had a bad life before his rescue, he certainly doesn't hesitate to give his heart to anyone who wants it. He is such a lover.....

Boo was pretty out of shape when we rescued him from the pound but he is quickly blossoming into a very good looking, well behaved and super charming blue boy. It gives our volunteers a wonderful feeling to watch him go from a heartbroken, reserved, scared and sick dog, to a happy, outgoing Don Juan.

Sweetheart | Looking Good | Handsome

Booberry has quickly been gaining weight and will soon be ready to begin his heartworm treatment. Sadly he tested positive, which is no surprise considering the hard life he left behind. We are currently raising money for his care. Even if you can't adopt Booberry, you can still save his life by donating for his treatment. A dog his size will cost about $175.00 to treat.  What Booberry thinks about Heartworms

Thanks to a generous donation, Booberry had his heartworm treatment this week (Feb 2nd). He is a little sore and needs to be quiet for 6 weeks but other than that, he's being a real trouper . Boo should be back on his feet soon and ready to start his new life with a healthy heart!

MPR would like to extend a special thank you to the James Vortriede family for their generous donation for Booberry's Heartworm treatment.

Waiting for you | Please love me

Boo is now living at MPR new mini-shelter where he is thriving. His favorite activity? Cuddling with a volunteer on the couch... Though he is also discovering that playing with toys is a lot of fun.

Booberry has a laid back personality and is pretty easy-going. He is very easy on the leash and well behaved. He does his best to keep his kennel clean so housebreaking should not be a problem.

Boo gets along with his friend "Gloria". The two of them were confiscated from the same home by animal control on cruelty charges. Despite the horrible cold we have been through lately, both of them were chained outside without adequate food and shelter. Needless to say, Boo and Gloria cant give us enough kisses to let us know how much they appreciate the comfort they are now getting. They love to be pampered.

We just cant wait until Booberry finds a loving home and discovers for the first time what it feels like to be accepted as a cherished family member. We can only imagine the look in his face and warmth in his heart when he realizes that his new life is not a dream....
