Story:
Sweetheart | Cutie
Foster Situation: Fostered in a home with kids (including a toddler), other dogs, cats and even ferrets. Couldn't be anymore socialized. He has plenty of animals and people to play with and is kept very busy. We have a fenced in backyard in town, so he has lots of room to run around and plenty of energy to keep him going. He does pretty good on the leash when we are walking. I dont think he has had much experince on a leash but he is getting the hang of it. He, also, does very well in the car on his leash, buckled up. That's when he takes his naps. He sleeps at night in his crate with his blanky and toy. I think his ideal home, would be a family home. A home with other pets and maybe children.
Training: Brutus is very responsive, so he is taking to training very well. He is almost completely house trained and we are working on the basic commands like sit, down, stay, etc. Although, crate training is not going as well. He only goes in his crate at night to sleep, but I think he gets lonely and whines a bit. But I know he will get the hang of things.

Personality: Brutus is a bundle of joy. He is very loving and cuddly. He loves to just lay on the couch in your lap. He is a silly but well behaved, normal puppy. He just loves my toddler. He follows her around everywhere but I think it's because he knows that when she has food, she sneaks him some! I don't think he has ever met a stranger in his little life, he loves anyone that will give him attention. He is a sweet, cuddly puppy with lots of love to give, definitely a people pleaser. He doesn't have a prey drive at all. He could care less about my cats or ferrets.
Best Attribute: I think his best trait is how loving he is. He is in heaven when he is in your lap. He's not happy unless you are in his sight.
