Buckaloo is probably not a real Pit Bull but most likely some kind of American Bulldog. His eyes are striking and remind us of the rare ABBB, a rare breed originating from Georgia. Their personality and disposition are similar to the AB.
Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog: Alert. Protective. Intelligent. These are the qualities of the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog, whose name connotes its regal bearing. Alapahas are said to make wonderful companions. They are also excellent watchdogs and are fiercely protective of whatever they are asked to guard. The Alapaha has a sturdy, muscular frame and is powerfully built, agile, and athletic.

Buck is a playful dog, very outgoing, confident and full of zest for life. He loves kids but might be a little too much dog for a toddler. He gets along with female dogs but likes to roughhouse so he needs to be supervised.
Buck needs some training but is somewhat responsive. The best environment for him would be a home with a large backyard and owners who know how to provide positive leadership. This dog is very eager and willing to have a good time in life. He will do best with a family that has a good sense of humor as he's a real clown!
