Well, Chimie has done great. The first night in the hotel, he slept on the bed with us all night, right in the middle and the 6-1/2 to 7 hour trip home was wonderful. He slept most of the way only getting up to see what was going on when we slowed down and when he needed to "go". Every time he needed out, he would stand up, get in my lap and look out the window. We stopped probably about 5 or 6 times. Once we got home, he was introduced to the gentle leader and the crate, which he took to both great. He entered the crate on his own and was relaxed. He is up to about 45 minutes or so in the crate and has no problems really. I figure by next week, I can put him in there and go shopping or whatever. He seems to be housebroken and had only one accident. We think it was because the houseplant he stood by looked very similar to the ouside bushes that he uses.

When he met his "sister", Chelsea, they just bonded from the start. He wakes her up every morning with kisses and watches her get ready for school and get on the bus. He is definately a lapdog. He loves to sleep on the couch with his head in our laps or on the pillow if we aren't in there.

Handsome Boy | A True Beauty

We can not stress enough how sweet and loving this boy is! Chimichanga (Chimi) could take the cake for the worlds best pittie snuggler. This boy is all about love and being loved on.

Handsome Chimi was out of time on deathrow and one of our volunteers was so touched by his pleading and loving eyes, that there was just no way she could leave him behind. So even though we were unbelievably full, we've managed to squeeze him in and give him a chance to discover the good life.

Chimi has proven to be even sweeter than what we first imagined. He wants nothing more than to snuggle up in a lap and be treated with love and kindness.
