Cleo is calm, sweet, loving and very laid back. She is a little bullheaded like a bulldog and will require someone who understands the breed well. Cleo is very strong.
We think the best situation for her would be as an only pet. We will update her bio if Cleo demonstrates that she would do well with other dogs. She is fostered in a home with two dogs but will not be introduced right away.

Bulldogs are known for their calm and reserved nature. They usually have a good temperament but are more protective than Pit Bulls. Ironically, Bulldogs are welcomed in most municipalities that ban Pit Bulls. This will open doors to Cleo. If you live in a municipality that has BSL but would like to adopt Cleo, we can take her to Animal Control and see if she would be approved.

Please help give Cleopatra a healthy heart. She has so much love to give.
Cleopatra tested positive to heartworm disease. MPR needs all the help we can get for her treatment. Because she is such a bog girl, It will cost about about $300.00 to treat but the prognostic is good. Cleo should be out of the woods 6 weeks after the treatment. Once again, MPR is asking for assistance so we can help this precious soul. God only knows how much she deserves it... |

| 2/20/2009 UPDATE from Foster Mom: Cleo is doing absolutely awesome. She is 100% crate trained, knows how to sit, stay, shake, and play fetch.
Everyone that meets her is so in love. She grunts and snores and is clumsy and just all around too cute. LOL ... And man is she a cuddler!!! She is gaining weight and looking really good. She listens well too. Must say, we are completely in love with her too. |
