Cocoa is with Halfway Home Pet Adoptions. She and her mate were confiscated by animal control for being intact Pit Bulls in KCMO. Owner came back to claim dad but he abandoned Cocoa and the pups. So sad... :-(
Cocoa is a brave mama dog who courageously took care of a litter of 9 at the shelter, until a foster home opened up for the little family. Once her pups were weaned they each found families of their own. Now it's Cocoa's turn to find her special family. Please open your heart and home to her. |

Precious | Being Silly
Foster Situation: Cocoa is a beautiful sable/lilac female, friendly, outgoing and energetic. Cocoa is housebroken and is doing very well in her foster home. She is currently in a home with a privacy fence and loves to run off her energy. She is a friendly dog with an outgoing personality. She will shower you with kisses if you let her. She would do better as an only pet but could live with a friendly male if introduced properly and well supervised. No cats please.
Beautiful Girl
Training: She is housebroken and crate trained. She sits very well and, with a few tries and treats, will lay down. She is strong willed and excited at first but once she has a few minutes to calm down she listens much better. Her foster dad is still working with her on further commands.
Gorgeous Girl
Personality: She is very puppy-like and full of energy. Once she's been able to burn off some of her energy she loves nothing more than to cuddle and give plenty of pitbull kisses. Her eyes seem to lure you in. She is absolutely gorgeous and has a beautiful coat and markings. But her eyes just set her apart from any dog that her foster dad has ever met.
How can anyone resist this sweetheart?
Cocoa so deserves a family of her own to love and who will love her back. Please help this brave mama dog find her forever home by opening your heart and home to her. It's a promise, she'll shower you with pittie love and kisses!
