This silver blue brindle beauty was rescued from a difficult situation and transferred to foster care. It didn't take us long to realize that Danica is a very fun-loving girl, always in a good mood and full of love for life.
Some of those pictures make her look serious (she's eyeballing the treat in the photographer's hand) but in realty, she's a total goofball. Danica is one of our friendliest dog. She loooooves to play, both with humans and with other dogs. She likes cats too!
This dog is just about as happy-go-lucky as they come. She is strong and energetic and will do better with an owner who will provide a structured environment and positive leadership.
Foster Situation: Danica is fostered in a home with a male pit bull mix and 3 cats. She does well with all of her furry friends.
Training: Danica is housebroken and crate trained. She knows a few basic commands and is working on how to walk on a leash instead of pulling.
She is very responsive and tried hard to be a good girl.
Personality: Danica is needy for attention and loves every minute her human friends can give her. Belly-rubs are one of her favorite things in the world! If you stop petting her, she will paw at your hands and arms or will burry her head in your lap. She loves being right next to your side. No matter if its in the kitchen cooking or watching tv in the living room, she just wants to be where ever you are. Danica is a sweet loving girl who loves to shower you with love and affection.
Best Attribute: Danica is a loving couch potato at time but she also has great positive energy. Danica would make a wonderful companion to go on long walks and then back in the house to snuggle up on the couch. A home with a large fenced yard, active children and another playful male dog would be perfect for her.
Hello, I just wanted to let you know how happy we are to have Danica in our lives. A special thanks to Nicole for bringing her to us. She had a very short adjustment period and then settled right in to her home life, which consists of laying on the couch, playing, laying on the couch, going for walks, laying on the couch. I guess you get the message. After losing our beloved female pit in Sept to cancer, Danica has helped us fill the void in our lives. I have never seen such an affectionate loving girl. Again, thank you so much for allowing us to adopt such an angel!
