| Her name couldn't be anymore fitting. This adorable little girl is a delight. She is very small, compact and loves to snuggle. Delight was found abandoned in a bad part of town. She had learned to stay away from people and fear humans. She came to us scared and distrustful but she never once showed any aggression. In fact, she seemed resigned to her fate and didn't hold a grudge against humans. She had learned to be as quiet as possible so no one would notice her and hurt her... Well, that sad life sure has changed. Delight is now in foster care, being treated like a little princess and living Cinderella's dream. All she needs now is a charming family to sweep her off her feet. Everyday Delight is opening up a little more and coming out of her shell. You can see the transformation in her eyes. Those pictures were taken a few days after her rescue - She looks a lot happier now. She wags her tail when people approach her and loves the attention. In fact, her foster home might spoil her a little to much but Delight is certainly not complaining. We believe she deserves it and she remains a very nice, easy and well mannered dog. She is perfectly crate trained and house broken. |

| Delight is indeed no trouble at all. She is fostered in an apartment with two cats and is as easy as they come. Her foster mom works at a vet clinic and takes Delight to work with her everyday. So this sweet little lady is getting a lot of socialization and learning that life can be wonderful when you are loved and well cared for. Delight would make an outstanding companion to just about anyone. We do prefer a home with adults or older kids however, due to her sensitivity. Delight gets her feelings hurt easily and we want to make sure she will always be treated with kindness and love.
