4/05/2006 Update: Donor is doing great. He is quite the couch potato and bed hog. We didn't have a fenced in yard at our other house, but we have one now and he loves it. He loves to run around like a wild man and sun himself on the deck. He also gets along good with our cat and other dogs. I don't have any recent pictures, but he's definitely filled out a lot since we adopted him - he's over 70 pounds now. He thinks he's a little lap dog because as soon as we sit down, he's on one of our laps - he's just a little spoiled. Gary and Amy

Donor's famous grin Beautiful Donor was saved just in the nick of time. This poor boy was scheduled to be euthanized when we heard about him. What was most heartbreaking about him is that while his life was at stake, he had been saving other dogs' lives by donating blood. Donor even saved a little Poodle who wouldn't have survived if it wasn't for Donor sharing his blood with him. Donor's sits | Beautiful Donor Donor finally made it's way to MPR and is now proving to be a very loving and super friendly companion. We cant believe this sweet boy almost didn't make it. He is so full of love and wants to share it with everyone he meets..... His heroic story was enough to grip our hearts, but his charming personality has totally won us over.

Friendly Donor | Gorgeous Boy | Big ole smile Donor has been introduced to young and playful females and he does very good with them. He is fostered in a home with a friendly female and the two of them are getting along great. Donor is very smart and knows a few commands. We know that he was someone's pet before being abandoned at the vet clinic. He is house broken, crate trained and eager to please. This boy is really charming and quite the wiggle butt. His tail is always wagging! All you have to do is say his name and his tail starts thumping. Very cute. It is very obvious that he's thrilled to be given a chance to find love. Relaxing | Sweet Donor | Sooooo Love-a-BULL | Tough Life Donor is also a very good looking boy. Those pictures don't do him justice. He is quite breathtaking in person. He has very nice cropped ears, beautiful coat and an athletic and stocky body. He has the cutest face and look at that grin! Note that most of those pictures were taken the day Donor joined our program. His coat was in poor condition then but it looks much better now, is very healthy and shinny. Donor is also a lot stockier now that he is back in shape. He is actually quite the head turner and we cant get over how beautiful he has become. We will try to post new pictures ASAP. In the meantime, you have to see him in person to appreciate his beauty. "Are we done with the pictures yet?" This little hero is so deserving of a good home now. "Please welcome me into your life" UPDATE: Donor has now been enrolled to obedience classes where he is behaving very well, getting good public socialization and learning more commands so he can impress his new family when they come for him.
