Foster Situation: Bug was a stray that showed at my parents neighbor's house. The neighors left her outside and I could not bare to leave her there for the cold winter outside. So I asked the neighbors if I could have her. Bug was in pretty good condition when I rescued her. Just needed shots and deworming.
Bug is now inside and outside with 2 other dogs. Her friends are a male pitbull named Buck and a male coonhound named Duke. She gets along with them well. Bug has never been around cats. I have a fenced yard in the country and she loves to run and play with the other dogs. She likes to ride in the car but gets carsick. She sleeps in the basement on her dog bed at night with her buddies Buck and Duke! Bug would love to have a home where she can receive quality attention daily. She would do great in a home with other dogs, but would also love to be your one and only. Bug has also never been around children, but I am sure she would love the extra attention they would give her.
Training: No formal training yet. Just working on potty training(doing well). Also trying to train her not to chew on things. Very sweet and eager to please. She has never been crated. We are working on not jumping up too. She just gets sooo excited.
Personality: Bug is very outgoing, hyper, silly, and rambunctious .She loves to sit on my lap, and loves visitors. She is submissive, and occasional submissive urination around men. Loves to get rowdy and play wrestle with my other dogs. I think she would chase cats and other small animals though, but not totally sure because we don't have any cats. Bug loves to have her belly scratched and to play with her Kong.
Best Attribute: If you want someone to be excited to see you when you get home this is your girl! Bug loves everyone and I have fallen in love with her good nature and sweetness. She will need a little training, but will be a great friend and companion for years to come.
