Sweet Dragonfly
She was saved by the bell thanks a very generous donation, giving us a couple of months of boarding and hopefully enough time to find a home or foster home for her. Her situation is still precarious but we are hopeful that a cute little girl like her will find herself a place to go soon.
In the meantime Dragonfly is enjoying playing with her many doggie friends in daycare and getting great socialization. She is learning basic dog behaviors from all the other dogs and loving the opportunity to run and stretch her legs everyday! She is also used to being crated in-between play times and at night time while she sleeps. Dragonfly would love a home where she can continue to play and burn off her puppy energy but be able to cuddle with a human companion as well.
UPDATE October 08: Lucky Dragonfly has received yet another donation from her "Bully Benefactor" giving her one more month in boarding. She is making a ton of friends and spend a lot of time in the daycare area with other dogs. She is also a great "Intro-Dog" for our adult dogs and has totally seduced "Longshot" whos drooling all over her. He is quite smitten by this happy, silly puppy. Dragonfly sends a tone of slobery kisses to Nancy, her generous sponsor :-)

Training: At daycare Dragonfly has the opportunity to interact with many human friends as well as other dogs. She has learned that her human friends don’t like her jumping up and she has also mastered how to sit like a little princess. She is very eager to please and would love to go to further doggie training classes. This fun-loving and outgoing girl would be willing to go the extra mile for her new mom or dad. She is very smart and has her headstrong moments like most pups her age but once she knows you have caught onto her stubborn ways she cleans up her behavior very quickly. She is becoming a favorite at the boarding facility because she is very smart and can learn quickly! She will need an owner able to provide her with structure and leadership.

Personality: Dragonfly is about as happy and as outgoing as they come. She loves visitors of all kinds and sees everyone as a playmate. She is somewhat dominant with other dogs so she would do better with a more submissive laid back doggie brother to balance her out. She is a brave girl and would be great in any kind of obedience training.

Best Attribute: Dragonfly has the ability to make you smile no matter how bad of a mood you are in! She will give you such a silly look or a funny little butt run when she sees you that you can’t help but laugh! She is perfect for an active family that would love to make their bond stronger by attending dog classes with her. She loves to soak up all the attention she can as quickly as possible and to show off how smart she is! She is quite the silly little gal!
