Soulful eyes | Full of love

One look into those sorrowful, yet loving eyes, and we knew we had to get this one out of the shelter. As soon as we saw her, we felt a strong desire to hug this sweetheart and promise her she would never suffer again. Our wish came true thanks to an opening in our program, and "Forgiveness" is now soaking up all the love we can give her in our program. She was quickly nick-named "The sweetest dog in the world" by our volunteers....

We didn't know what to expect from a dog who had obviously been trough hell, but like all good Pit Bulls true to their amazing forgiving nature, this beautiful dog, covered in scars, so underweight you could count her ribs, and with ears that have been completely butchered off her head, has totally forgiven humans for what they did - She unconditionally gives her love to everyone she meets and we must stress how loving she is. Forgiveness is indeed the most affectionate dog we currently have in our program.

This girl beams with love. Can you tell we are smitten? Forgiveness is such an inspiration for all of us. How can you complain about the little heartaches of life when you see an abused dog like her smile at life with all her heart?

In just a few weeks, thanks to all the love and good care she has been receiving in our program, Forgiveness has blossomed into a remarkable beauty - She is absolutely "gorgeous".

We figured when we bailed her out that she would have to be an only pet. We now believe that she could share her home with a laid back male if her owners are experienced with the breed and provide thorough supervision.

Forgiveness is crate trained and housebroken. She is easy-going and basically spends her days soaking up all the love she missed in her life. She lights up when someone gives her attention and loves nothing more than lay on someone's lap to be loved on. She's a real people-dog and completely dedicated to fill someone's life with love.

Forgiveness is fostered in a home with kids, including a toddler. She is EXCELLENET with the kids and adores them. In fact, we hope that she will find a home with kids as she is so good and thrives in their presence.
