Story: Freesia was found by an animal control officer and was obviously nursing a litter of pups. The pups were no where to be found. Despite being emaciated and malnourished, Freesia kept a great attitude all along. The ACO contacted MPR and begged us to save this little girl and that's how she came into the program.
Note that some of the pictures were taken a week after her arrival and some a few weeks later. Freesia has gained weight and blossomed into a real Cinderella.

Living Situation: Freesia is currently in our boarding facility and is patiently waiting for someone to open up their home to her to foster or hopefully adopt. We don't think Freesia had a great life before her rescue so boarding doesn't seem so bad right now. She's the kid of dog who would just be so grateful to discover the good life with a caring owner. Those dogs usual bond very closely to those who give them a chance and show them what its feels like to be loved and well cared for for the first time.

Personality: She is very well mannered. She doesn't go to the bathroom in her run and she will shake anytime you ask her. She is very mellow and would love someone to just spend time with her. She walks very well on her leash, does great on car rides, vet appointments etc. She would be a very easy dog to transition into any living style.

Best Attribute: You can't help but love Freesia when she does a little butt wiggle as she comes out of her kennel and looks at you with those pleading eyes to give her any amount of attention. She would be a great addition to any family. She is easy, loving, responsive and very eager to please.
