POST ADOPTION UPDATE: June 2, 2007

Miss Bunny is doing great! She has really fit in well with the family. She plays outside a lot. I get to take her to work once in a while and she seems to enjoy that as well. Just as long as she is with one of us she’s happy. She is very dainty and likes to lick a lot! She has an awnry streak when we leave her alone. She gets into things and messes up the bed, its amusing. We are very happy to have her.

Funny Bunny is a cute little girl who found herself homeless somehow with no one to take care of her, alone and scared in the street. Luckily, she managed to find her way to a kind lady and her children who welcomed her and tried hard to find her family. After a few weeks, they realized that Funny Bunny had most likely been abandoned and needed a new home.

Pretty Eyes

Funny Bunny is now in our program, hoping hard that someone will come for her. She is a very good girl, very obedient, well behaved and she knows a few commands. She is very cute, sweet and loves everyone. Funny gets along with other dogs when introduced properly. She is fostered in a home with two dogs and does very well with them. She is housebroken, crate trained and very well behaved. Funny is rather petite and delicate and very easy to handle. She has the cutest ears with little brow freckles and her tail is duck which makes her look like a Bunny.

This little lady is very affectionate and she loves to cuddle. She has great manners and is a sweet and loving little girl.

A Note from her previous foster mom:

"Funny Bunny is being fostered in a home with 2 dogs and a cat. She does well while supervised with the dogs and likes to give friendly chases to the cat. Although she can do well with other dogs, I think the best situation for her would be with another male dog or as a single pet. She loves to have all of your attention. She wants to be at the side of her owner as much as possible. She loves to cuddle, give tons of kisses, play, and sleep under your bed covers at night. She loves to be wherever you are. Bunny did something so cute tonight ... she burried her bone in the bottom of my laundry basket. :-)

She is working on basic commands and is doing great and is so eager to please. She is crate trained and completely house broken. She is the most loving and loyal little dog. Her size is perfect for any household and she is good with children. She would make a wonderful addition to any household."

A Note from her current foster mom:

Funny Bunny is now being fostered in a home with a male dog and 2 cats. She was in another foster home until her foster mom could no longer keep her, before coming to me.  She is now fostered with a male dog and 2 cats.  She was also fostered with a female for awhile.  She does wonderful with them.  She likes to play hide and go seek with the cat under the bed.  She loves her foster dad, Chris. If he is outside working on a car she wines and watches him out the window. She has a fenced in yard to run around in.  We try to take the dogs every other Sunday to Petsmart and/or Petco.  She does well with people wanting to come up and pet her.  She walks fairly well on the leash.  She LOVES going on car rides even if its just a short ride to the gas station.  She sleeps in bed at night.  She hates being in her crate and will throw a fit.  She would do well with kids or another animal.  I also think she would do well if someone was in an apartment. She pretty much goes out and does her thing and wants right back in.

Bunny knows how to sit and shake. She is very dainty about taking treats out of your hands. She is crate trained but will throw a fit when in it. She is VERY responsive to the water bottle, but can be stubborn. Bunny LOVES to be where ever you are and loves to cuddle rather its on the couch or in bed. She is Very rambunctious when you first come home from work or when visitors come over but she soon settles down. She is very outgoing and playful. Her favorite spot on the couch is curling up at one end. Oh, and she loves to play under the blankets. She also LOVES giving kisses. She is very gentle and will do well with kids. She can also be left out of her crate and will not chew up anything.
