When Gloria arrived at MPR she was a shadow of herlsef.... Emaciated, dull coat, scared, confused and very into her shell. Within a few weeks, this beautiful blue dog has not only metamorphosed physically, but she has blossomed internally as well. What a fun-loving, happy-go-lucky, playful and friendly girl she has become! The transformation is pretty amazing and MPR volunteers are very proud to have contributed to this success story.
Indeed, after just a few weeks of great socialization with MPR, Glo-Glo is now a happy goofball, full of love and joy-de-vivre. She still has plenty to learn but she is soaking it up. You can see it in her eyes. Gloria never knew that life could be fun before - She sure cant get enough of it now.
Don't let the serious expression in those pictures fool you. Gloria is all but serious. She's very much a clown in fact. Glo loves to play with toys and run around with the volunteers. She has discovered cuddling with people and she loves it. Some of our volunteers bring their kids when they visit Gloria and she has a great time with them. She is such a puppy herself!
Gloria remains unsure when introduced to new situations but she warms up quickly. We hope her new owners will continue working with her to show her that the world is not a bad place when you are loved and happy.
