So Sweet | Irresistible little guy | Too Cute
Gonzo is fostered in a home with two other dogs, two cats and a 2 year old toddler He does very well with all of them. Gonzo can now walk on his own, though he spends most of his time laying down, resting. He is house broken and so far has been no trouble at all in his foster home..
Adorable Gonzo | Those eyes | Good sit
Gonzo's foster mom says that he is very sweet and wants to be by her side all the time. He does his best to follow her around in the house and be in the same room as her when he can. He is not bothering the cats and lets them rub on him like long time friends. Gonzo is patient and tolerant of the toddler in house and perks up with a smile when the little guy is nearby.

We will update Gonzo's bio as soon as we know him better.

MEDICAL NEEDS: Gonzo has been diagnosed with a "fractured tibia". We are currently assessing if he will need a surgery to repair the fracture, a splint or a cast. We will send updates ASAP and we can provide the name and phone number of the vet clinic for more information.
UPDATE 04/20/08: X-rays revealed a clean tibia fracture and the best course of action was a cast. The fracture is healing nicely already and Gonzo is making great progress. We are hoping to remove the cast in about 4 weeks and Gonzo will be back on his feet and ready to live the long and happy life he deserves. |
THANK YOU!!!! Gonzo's medical treatment was made possible thanks to the great generosity of our supporters. We couldn't do it without your help and Gonzo sends a tone of slobbery kisses to everyone who sent financial assistance for his care :-) |
