    Love-a-bull

    Harrison has had a tough life. When we rescued him, he had what looked like a spinal deformity that we thought might have been present from birth or could of been injury related. The curvature in his spine caused pressure and impingement of his spinal cord and resulted in hind leg weakness.

    We immediately took Harrison to a specialist and he was diagnosed with discospondylitis, which is treatable. He underwent treatment and now looks and acts like a bran new dog. Harry is now running around enjoying life like a happy dog like him should. Though the infection has been treated, he is still going through convalescence to fully repair the damage to his spine, which will probably take a few months.

    Living Situation: Harrison is fostered in a home with two other female dogs and a cat. He is very docile and laid back. He gets along well with both foster sisters and ignores the resident cat. He has a gentle soul and currently is very timid, but we believe that with lots of love and attention, he will blossom into a wonderful and loyal companion. He is eager to please and corrects very easily, however, he almost never needs to be corrected. He is practically perfect in every way.

    Harry has not been introduced to children, but we believe that he will handle them with the same gentle grace that he handles everybody.

    Training: Harry knows how to sit and stay and has excellent manners with people. He is very calm, quiet, and tolerant.

    Personality: Don't let Harrison's big build intimidate you. He is an absolutely gentle and loving teddy bear. He is very low-key and enjoys lounging around the house and cuddling with his foster parents.

    Standing

    Best Attribute: Harrison is the complete package. He is beautiful on the inside and out and he would be the perfect addition to any home. He is a very quiet and well behaved dog and would love to spend his days inside, getting love from his forever family. Harry will need a family that is able to accept his physical limitations and work with him to make his life as easy and comfortable as possible.
