    Sweet eyes

Holstein was found by animal control running with a pack of dogs and taken to the shelter. MPR saw what great potential he had of being a cherished family pet so we pulled him and brought him into our program.

    Simply Irresistible

Too Cute! | Precious | Sweet Face | Easygoing

Foster Situation: Holstein is being fostered in a home with two female dogs and even though they communicate through a baby gate and crates they seem to love each other. He currently gets walks twice a day and does pretty well on a leash but is continuing to improve with further training. His foster mom and dad live in a small town and he likes to cruise around the town saying hello to all the ladies. Holstein is still not too sure about car rides but improves with each trip he makes. Holstein sleeps in his crate at night and his foster mom thinks he would do great sleeping in bed too. Holstein would do best in a house with a fenced in yard or someone who could take him on long walks (he doesn't seem fond of running).

Training: Holstein is housebroken and crate trained. His foster parents are working with him on basic commands. Holstein can sometimes be a little stubborn especially when it comes to bath time. However, he is eager to please, tries his best and is a very good boy.

    Kiss-a-bull | Adora-bull! | So beautiful

Personality: Holstein loves people and is good with kids too. He is pretty laid back kind of guy unless you have just let him out of his kennel, then he will run in a couple of circles and be done. Holstein loves to have his belly rubbed and his ears scratched. He is just happy to lay by your feet or up on the couch watching T. V. with you. Holstein is very frightened of thunderstorms and tends to try and hide when they are coming. Since he was found running in a pack he does get excited when he sees a bunny, bird or squirrel. His has not been tested with cats but his foster mom doesn't think he would do best in a home with a feline friend.

Best Attribute: Holstein has these big brown eyes that will absolutely steal your heart. He looks at you as to say, "I love you!" Holstein is very loyal and will follow you around the house where ever you go and never leave your side.
