Foster Situation: Honey is fostered in a home with another male dog. She is doing ok with him, but requires supervision. We believe she would do much better in a home as an only pet. She is very much a people-dog anyway and has enough love to give for 10!
Honey is very agile and can easily climb a chain link fence. She would be happiest in a home with a privacy fence. Honey is leash trained and behaves very well in public. A great little breed ambassador.
Honeybee is crate trained. She sleeps in her crate at night except during thunderstorms. Honey is scared of storms and we allow her to sleep in the bed if there is bad weather.

Training: Honey knows how to sit. She is a bit of a food thief so we are working with her to not beg and try to steal food. Honey is very responsive to corrections and praises. She is somewhat sensitive and we believe the poor girl might have been mistreated before. She sure doesn't hold a grudge though, and she adores people.
Personality: Honey has a very quirky, fun-loving personality. It took her a few weeks to come out of her shell when she first entered our program but she is now a very friendly and happy little girl. In fact, Honey is "extremely" loving and wants to be cuddled all the time, and we stress it. She can still be a little unsure when encountering something she is unfamiliar with, but quickly recovers and adjusts very well to her surroundings.
Honey sometimes enjoys just sunning herself on the couch and other times races around the house in a butt run. She likes to play with a rope toy, fetch a ball and chew on her bone. She's not shown any interest in squeaky toys. She likes to go on her "perimeter checks" as we call them. Periodically she'll randomly get up and check out the whole house from top to bottom and return to her spot next to you. Best Attribute: Honey is an itty bitty pitty. She is completely full grown but only weighs 35 lbs. She is smaller in height that a 6 mo old puppy. She's the only pittie we know who is a lap dog that can actually fit in your lap :)
She is also the sweetest dog ever. It's as though she's making up for all the attention she craved for so long that she never got. Honey does the "food dance" at meal times where she dances and wiggles her little butt so hard she can't even walk straight. She's a very unique special little girl who deserves a loving home to make up for all that she lost in the first couple years of her life.
