Thanks to generous donations, Lavender was successfully treated for heartworms and is now ready to give her healthy heart to a new family. She is such a love!

Playful and full of spirit, Lavender has a silly side to her. She loves to be a goofball and to have a good butt run, though nothing beats cuddling on the couch and giving someone a face wash. We must stress how affectionate this dog is. If you are looking for an independent dog, Lava is not the dog for you. She is very needy of attention and loves interaction.
Good with male dogs, though somewhat dominant, Lavender could live in a home with a friendly male provided the owner has a good understanding of the breed. She gets along well with her friend Cappuccino .
Lavender is learning to be a good house companion. Volunteers enjoy spending time with her because she is such a sweetheart. she walks well on leash and loves going on walks. Her favorite activity in the world though, cuddling on the couch!
