The shelters below might have a non-adoption policy on Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes and may only release them to licensed rescue organizations. If you visit any of those facilities and find a Pit Bull type dog you are interested to adopt, please contact us as soon as possible and we may be able to get the dog for you. Thorough screening (including homechecks, references, and temperament evaluation) will be required.
