Goof Face | Let The Sun Shine

Meet our very entertaining Miss Lola. Quite the showgirl indeed. Lola has so much personality and so much expressions. She smiles to greet you and her charm is impossible to resist.

Relaxing in grass | Hot Summer days

Story: Lola lost her home because of personality conflicts with other dog in home. We're not sure what caused the discord between the dogs, and which of the two initiated the hostilities, but at this point we feel that Lola might do better as an only pet. That said, she could perhaps share her home with a friendly male if the owners are very pit savvy and know how to establish leadership and provide good supervision.

Having fun | Roll baby roll

Behavior with kids: Lola has lived with children all her life, including toddlers. She does very good with them. In fact, she lights up when little ones are around and you can see a genuine love for children in her eyes.

Cool Girl | Too Cute | That's a pitty smile! | How could you resist that face?

Foster Situation: Lola was previously fostered in a home with kids and other dogs. She gets along with other dogs under strict supervision. She did loose her foster home because she doesn't do well with cats.

She is now in foster care with a young male Boston Terrier.Lola is very much a people-dog and would probably do better as an only pet, although she has lived with several other dogs. She is definitely not out of control but she is a Pit Bull. Please read our Breed-Info to learn more about the breed. Lola is a great representative of the breed. She loooves people.

Lola also shared her foster home with a two year old boy and was so well behaved around him. He's an active kid and Lola was very patient. She actually seemed to enjoy his antics and energy level. Lola would do awesome in a home with kids.

Training: Lola is crate trained, knows basic training and is well behaved in a home. Her foster mom claims that she is no trouble at all.

Pretty Red Girl | Laying Down | So sweet | Pretty Face | Sitting Pretty

Personality: Fun-loving gal, comical personality, Lola can be a real goofball at times and a sweet cuddle bug the next minute. Typical Pit Bull! Lola has a real love for life and while she has playful moments, she is not a hyper dog. In fact, she's quite the couch potato most of the time.

Lola loves people and is not much of a guard dog. Way too friendly for that. Her charming personality is quite irresistible and she wont miss an occasion to make you smile... Then you'll smile together.

Lola is well behaved in public and loves to go on outings.

Waiting for you | Too hot for pictures! | Lola's opinion of pet homelessness

Her Demise: Lola is not very photogenic. For some reason, she gets shy in front of the camera and makes silly faces. In person however, she is a beauty. She has the cutest grin, is very well proportioned with a compact body, not too big (perfect size for cuddling), and has the prettiest face. Her deep chocolate-red coat is very attractive but doesn't show well in pictures. Lola is one dog you have to meet in person to appreciate. She will steal your heart!

Best Attribute: Coming home when you have a dog like Lola to greet you will erase any bad day you might have had. This happy girl is a moral booster. Lola will cheer you up and sooner than you know, you'll be on your way to a walk in the woods or a trip to Petco, or simply a well deserved nap on the couch, with Miss Lola all cuddled up in your arms... Could life be any better?

Will you please give me a chance?
