Foster Situation: Longshot is currently in boarding and patiently waiting for his forever home. His wounds are completely healed, both on the inside and the out. Longshot is learning how to go for walks and loves to sit and cuddle with any of the volunteers that come to see him. Longshot enjoys car rides and the good life in general. You can tell he is so happy to be fed, loved and taken care of. He really doesn't require much to be happy!

Longshot has made a few girlfriends since his arrival in boarding. Velocity, Dragonfly and Bluebell to name a few.... He is quite the ladies man, both with humans and doggy girls as well. Needless to say, he loves the attention.

Training: Longshot is currently learning basic commands; This poor guy was never given the opportunity to show off how smart he is by receiving training. He is doing very well now and so proud to show off his skills.

Personality: Don't be fooled by the pictures; Longshot took the photo session very seriously and wanted to show off what a hunk he is. In realty however, this dog is just a happy-go-lucky and easy-going dude... Quite the goofball in fact.... Even in a boarding situation that can easily break many dogs spirits, he keeps his high. Anytime a volunteer comes near his run, he starts wiggling his butt and gives this sweet look as if he is saying "Is it my turn for love?". He really does get so happy over the smallest things. He is never hyper or overly excited though. He's one of our best "greeting dogs" at events because he is so welcoming, friendly and well behaved.This boy really has a great Pit Bull temperament and personality. He would definitely give his all to anyone to show him love. It is clear that he is a lover not a fighter.

Best Attribute: Longshot's best attribute would have to be his love for life, positive spirit and his constant happy face. It is as if he is smiling all the time and is just so happy to be alive.
