Cute Face

Hi! My name is Luna. I was wandering around on Truman Rd., trying to follow everyone I came across. I'd wag my tail and smile my big pit bull smile, but no one would pay any attention to me. I was really hungry and my collar was really tight. It was a very hot day and I was super thirsty. Then I heard a cheerful voice calling to me and when I turned around, there were a couple of angels with a bowl of water for me. I ran over and drank and drank and then they were lifting me into their van and off I went.

I didn't feel very good at first-I had sores on me and worms in me, etc. But I started feeling better and better everyday. I had good food and water whenever I wanted it. People loved me and walked me and pet me and spoke my name gently. I am staying at a boarding place, which means I'm in a doggie hotel. I would love to be in a foster home or better yet, to get adopted and be in my forever family. I am such a sweet, gentle girl. I love life, love people, love other dogs. I'm just ready for a home.

Sweetheart | Talking | Big Bully Smile | Silly Girl

Luna was found on Truman Rd., wagging her little tail and trying to follow and go up to everyone she met. No one paid any attention to her. It was a very hot day and we could see that she'd had a litter because her teats were sagging, although she didn't have any milk. Her plastic collar was very tight and she had lots of scratches, etc. She looked pretty be-draggled! We made her a Chain of Hope dog and she has never been happier.

Luna is SUCH a good girl. We would love to see her in a foster home for some TLC, rather than boarding. Luna has tested positive for heartworms and will be beginning her treatment soon. It would be so comforting for her if she had a foster home to recover in, instead of having to do it in a boarding facility.

Love me please
