Hi Karen, Yes Miss C. is now Missy and she is a rascal! I love her too much though and we are working in obedience training. I will work on getting some pictures together for you. Missy and Merllen still have some work to do on getting along.

Other than that, all is well. Missy has been to visit the vet and got a clean bill of health.

When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade. This is obviously Miss Chievous's philosophy. You see, this pretty white girl with a crystal blue eye is deaf, but that sure doesn't depress her! This funny lady is full of positive energy and joy for life.

Miss Chievous was confiscated on a neglect case after her owners gave up on her and tied her outside without adequate food and shelter. Miss Chievous is absolutely not dwelling on her past though, and has forgotten all about it already. That smiles says it all!

This funny lady will never miss an occasion to make you laugh. She gets along with other dogs and is very playful but she likes to roughhouse. Her energy and playfulness can be overwhelming to certain dogs so she needs to be closely supervised.

Miss Chievous Stands | Waiting for a home

Miss Chievous is a very fun-loving dog but we must warn anyone interested to adopt her that her name suits her well. She would do better in a home with patient owners, preferably experienced with deaf dogs, or at least willing to learn about sign training. She is a smart girl and enjoys toys and treats which should facilitate her training. Miss Chievous can be as loving and cuddly as she is playful. She loves to be a lap dog. She has a petite built which makes her the perfect snuggle buddy.

We think that Miss Chievous has a lot of potential but she needs work, someone who will not give up on her, but will find ways to reach out to her instead, so she can become a well behaved and pleasant companion. Her heart is definitely at the right place...

Miss C is not doing well in boarding. Oh, she's happy and enjoying life with all her heart, but this environment is unsuited for a deaf dog. We are not able to provide her with the structure, consistency, and training she needs and she is slowly deteriorating mentally. She needs to go in a home ASAP. Kennel life is going to ruin her. This poor dog simply cant spend the rest of her life in a cage unable to communicate with anyone. We can only hope someone will be there for Miss C soon.
