Piper was found by Chain of Hope volunteers eating trash in a park. She was super thin and also very friendly-came running right over to us! Of course, we couldn't leave her there. She had some scrapes on her face that were bleeding. She looked pretty roughed up, like she'd been on the streets for a little while. Piper is right about a yr. old. She is heartworm positive and will be finishing her treatment in a couple of weeks. She would love to have a foster home to recover in.

Piper is a favorite of the volunteers at the boarding kennel. She is a real lovebug. She is pretty much a lap dog because that is where she wants to be! While Piper LOVES people, she really doesn't care for other dogs. Piper needs to be an only child! Please consider Piper-she really is a black beauty!!
