Po is a very unique little dog. He looks like a 10 week old puppy but he has his adult teeth. He is probably 6 to 8 months old. He weighed only 18 Lbs when we first got him. Those pictures were taken a few days after he arrived in our program. He has since gained weight and filled out nicely. He is till much smaller than average for a Pit Bull - About the size of a Beagle. We cant tell yet if Po will remain tiny all his life, or if he will go through a sudden growth now that he is receiving good care and balanced nutrition. We do know that no matter what, he is ADORABLE!!!!

In addition to his weird size, his huuuuuge head and his big feet, Po has a mild malformation to one leg, also due to malnutrition. We have seen young dogs like him before and they usually end up "back on their feet" so to speak, with proper nutrition and good supplements. He might keep a mild limp all his life but nothing major.

Please do not let this minor abnormality discourages you from giving him a chance. Po has got to be THE MOST ADORABLE doggy in the whole world! He could be in a movie, he's so cute. No kidding! You have to meet him in person to realize how impossible it is to resist him.... We just cant get over how cute he is and his personally is just as irresistible as his comical appearance.

Foster Situation: Po is currently fostered in a home with other dogs and is getting good socialization. His "temporary" foster mom already has several pets and lives alone. Po needs a foster home or a new home where he could get more attention. He is quite the little prince and enjoys getting all the love he can get. Po gets attached very quickly and easily gives his heart away.
Po's foster mom is a receptionist in low cost spay and neutering vet clinic and takes him to work with her when ever she can. Needless to say, he is a HIT with the staff and clients. Quite the little mascot! Po is thrilled with the attention.
Training: Po does awesome in his crate. His foster mom is working on teaching him basic commands. He is now almost completely housebroken.
Personality: A comical little clown.. Sweet, very cuddly, a little needy. Po acts like a baby at times. He likes being held, spoiled and pampered... After all, he deserves it....
Best Attribute: The word "adorable" must have been invented for him. Po is so cute, its almost unreal. Everyone smiles when they see him and he loves the attention.
