This impressive dog is a total hit with people, especially with the ladies. He is strong, powerful and confident, yet loving, friendly and very sweet. This is one heartbreaker, and he knows it... A tough looking guy with a teddy bear's heart, Sampson's charm is completely irresistible. Sweet Face | Sitting Pretty Sampson may have come from a difficult situation like so many Pit Bulls. His poor ears were cut off, probably with scissors. Despite this awful mutilation, this boy has not only remained gorgeous, he hasn't lost his love for people. Sampson is a very strong and powerful dog but he is also very loving and cuddly. He would do better with a responsible owner willing to work with him and assure strong but positive leadership. He responds very well to the "Gentle Leader" type of collar and is well behaved in public. We take him to our all adoption events and he is always a good boy. Sampson has been taking obedience classes and knows a few commands. He is currently fostered in a home without a yard and has adapted perfectly to apartment life. The Great life When given the chance, Sampson likes nothing more than sit next to you to get some loving. He is mellow and affectionate, and loves a good back-scratch or belly-rub. His foster dad tells us that Sampson loves to cuddle on the couch to watch TV. If Sampson was a celebrity, he'd be Bruce Willis Good Looking Sampson | Standing Proud Sampson is fostered in a home with a little dog and does well with her. He could go in a home with a friendly female if his new owner is experienced with strong powerful dogs. Although he likes his little friend, Sampson is very much a people-dog and loves to have all the attention for himself.
