Foster Situation: Sarge is fostered in a home with other dogs. He was introduced to a young playful female and he does very well with her. However, he is much larger and can play rough if not well supervised. We think that with the right supervision and the right companion, Sarge could live in a home with a female. He seems too dominant to do well with another male.
Sweet Face | Chilling in grass
Training: Sarge is crate trained and has some basic training. He is very behaved in the house but needs structure. He has an enthusiastic and easy-going personality. He is very strong and does best when walked with a "Weiss-Walky". Sarge will need a home with strong leadership.
Sarge is very interested in small animals and we believe he could chase cats.
Beautiful | Big Boy | So Sweet | Proud boy
Personality: Sarge is quite big for an AmStaff. His breed is indeed debatable and he has actually been approved to live in some municipalities with BSL, including the city of Independence where he is currently registered as a Rottweiler mix.
Sarge is big and strong dog and will need a responsible owner. He loves to go on car rides and is very well behaved on outings.
Note that being such a unique and beautiful dog, Sarge is at great risk of attracting bad attention and could be a target for thieves. He's the kind of dog that should never be left outside or anywhere unattended.
What a hunk | On the couch | True Beauty
Best Attribute: His remarkable beauty but also his easy-going nature. Despite his size, he's a big baby. He would do better in a home with older kids than toddlers. Sarge is particularly fond of men, and he loooooves to play. He looks very impressive but we believe he is a trustworthy dog with a stable and sound temperament.
