I
was worried about the size differences and the fact that Bronx
plays so rough when we take him out to play with Eric's brother's
dogs, but he was just a gentle giant to her. Actually Skye did
more chewing on his lips than anything, but he didn't seem to
mind.
We
took them outside a couple more times before bed and Skye did
what she needed to do like she had lived here all along. Finally
it was time for bed. With a little reluctance and a lot of back
talking Bronxy Bear decided he would sleep in his crate, so that
Skye could get used to her new bedtime and sleeping arrangements.
She decided that sleeping next to our oldest son was the best
place to be. I woke up this morning and found Skye in the same
place that she went to sleep. I decided that I did not want to
wake her and left for work. My husband phoned and was just so
impressed about how good she is. He took her out when he got up
and she did what she needed to do
So
all in all Skye is really fitting in with us and her new companion.
No accidents in the house! Well I will let you go for now, but
I will write again soon and send pictures. Oh yeah! Please thank
everyone at MPR and give a special thanks to Sherry and Josh for
getting Skye off to a great start. She is just a little PRINCESS.
P.S.
We decided to go ahead and change her name. We wanted a name that
centered around her. We went through all of the words that had
to do with blue and decided on Skye."
