| 8/24/2006 UPDATE: They are doing great! We actually changed their names. S'mores is now Major, and Tootsie is now Phoebe. These two play well together, eat together, go on walks together, sleep together. I actually had to start kenneling them together at night because Major would cry if she was not right next to him. They are so cute together and I'm really glad we decided to get them both. We had a buddy from MN come down to visit last weekend and he brought his two dogs. A 160lb great dane and a little beagle and these 4 were hilarious together! They are great with most of the people in the neighborhood and they do well with other dogs. I wish I could have every one from the resue living with me, but I'm a big sucker for these dogs. All is really well though and we are going to send some update pictures soon so you guys can see how funny they are. They have a very luxurious life here..lol. I even bought them a satin blanket for their kennel because I wanted it to be soft enough and comfortable. We look forward to sending pictures and thank you for checking up. Talk to you all soon. | S' Mores was left in the kitchen of an office where a rescuer works. Someone must have known she would help him.
It didn't take long to be convinced that S'Mores would make a great addition to our program. Talk about cute! |

S'Mores spent a few weeks at the boarding facility where he made all kind of friends and has now been transferred to foster care. This happy little dude shares his temporary home with another young dog his age and a cat. He does great with everyone. S'Mores is a very sharp little guy and a quick learner. He is already housebroken and you can see the look of intelligence in his eyes. He is playful and full of enthusiasm for life. He is also cuddly and loving. We will send updates soon.
