Hello,
I am just letting you know that Spuds is great! He is a sweetheart
and we love him. He behaves wonderfully around our cats, Ignoring
them for the most part. He even seems a little afraid of our big
male cat, and tries to avoid crossing his path.
I
want to get some pictures to you of him playing with his deflated
vollyball (it was fully inflated before he started playing with
it!!). He likes to grab it and do laps around the yard with it
in his mouth, then stop and shake it, and play tug of war with
it. Very cute. His all time favorite activity though, is cuddling
on the couch, and giving hugs!
We love to show him off. People seem suprised about how nice and
sweet he is. It is hard for them to believe that his attitude
is not atypical of the breed.
We will send you some pictures soon. Thanks again for everything,
and we will keep you posted on Spuds.

Update
3/21/05:
I just wanted to drop everyone a line and give you an update on
Spuds. He is doing great, we have him enrolled in classes with
a group called Domesti-Pups,
they train service/therapy dogs. If all goes well he will have
his Canine Good Citizen, and will also be a certified therapy
dog. We think he will make a good therapy dog as he never can
soak up enough love to fill him up! I will try and get some pictures
to you, but i never seem to have the camera on me when photo ops
occur! |
