Tapioca

Tapioca is a 3 month old puppy who had an “embedded” chain in her neck. Ouch!

It also appears that someone cut half of one of her ears off when she was just a few weeks old.

Animal Control was called after people witnessed this little puppy living outside on a chain, with no food, water and shelter....

Talk about a rough start at life...

This sweetheart had so much unbelievable pain and hurt in her young life that we'll do all we can to help her survive and get her on her feet to a new life of joy and love ...

Tapioca was transferred to a foster home with another dog and 3 young children. We will update her bio as soon as we know her better.

A note from foster mom: " Tapioca is possibly the most lovable pup I've ever met. She seems to be amazed with being in the house. And I have NEVER met a dog that gives kisses in the quantity that she does. She just seems to be so appreciative of being inside. She sniffed around for awhile when she got here and just really seemed to be amazed. She seemed pretty bewildered with stairs... May not have used them before! I washed her down a bit with wipes and spray shampoo and brushed her and she LOVED it! She was very appreciative to get a little clean! When these stitches from her spay heal, she's gonna love her bath!

I made her a spot on the couch to rest and then I sat on the couch and she came over and sat next to me and then crawled in my lap and that's where she is now. She is awesome."

"Please give me a chance...."
