Trix was found roaming in a field while outreach volunteers were packing up and about to call it a day. She had no collar on and they figured she would probably take off so they decided to leave some food for her and maybe later she would come back to eat. BUT when the volunteer called to her she came barreling towards them and jumped in the truck!

Trixy spent several months living at the clinic where the rescuers worked and loved to go on outreach calls and ride around in the truck. She was shuffled around and ended up staying with one of the employees from the outreach program. She has been with that home for about 3 years. We believe that Trixy would do best as an only pet and this is the reason she is looking for a new home.
Trixy is a lazy girl who is not too fond of going on long walks but loves to be a couch potato! She is an easy going girl for someone who wants a companion to just sit next to and snuggle with. Trix loves people... Especially men! She loves to cradled in your arms like a baby and LOVES tummy rubs.

Trixy is housebroken but it not used to carpets and might have accidents unless she is left in an area with flooring. She stays in a gated living room during the day and sleeps on a comfy couch with her blanky at night. She would tolerate being kenneled but is such a well behaved girl that she would do best in a home that would let her free roam even if its just in one room of the home.
Trix does not like to be outside. She is a chubby girl and over heats very easily. She does her business quickly and will want to come right back inside. Trix only tricks are to sit and come. She is great when called to come and always listens! Shes not into doggy toys but loves an occasional stuffed animal to rip the stuffing out of. She very rarely takes off running but if the mood strikes her you can see her video and she is hilarious! She has been a pampered princess for the past 3 years of her life and we hope that pampering continues in the next season of her life.
Trixie is about 3 years old. This adorable red-fawn beauty is house-trained and crate-trained. She has a very sweet and loving disposition. All she wants is to show someone how much love she has to give. She is cuddly and has a calm temperament. She is very smart, walks well on a leash and is just adorable.
Trixie is a very special girl and needs a home who will give her the attention and love she deserves.She's a girly girl at heart and would love her new mommy to continue her pampered lifestyle!
