MPR holds Adoption Events on a regular basis. Those events allow the public to meet our dogs, talk to our volunteers about Pit Bull ownership, ask any question and spend individual time with a dog they might be interested to adopt. We try to have at least one even a month, more when the weather is nice. We usually hold our events in local Pet Stores in Missouri and Kansas. We have an "event Team" in charge or organizing those events and take care of the dogs. We bring from 5 to 25 dogs at the time. The dogs are kept in wire crates and rotated to meet the public. One Man Junk Is Another Man's Treasure...! MPR is collecting items for our garage sale all year long. Anything of value you would like to donate to help us raise money for the organization is deeply appreciated. We now have a location where we can store items all year long. Please contact MPR if you have anything to donate. Pick up can be arranged in certain cases. MPR reserves the right to decline certain items.   Special Events MPR also attends special events such as parades, fairs, festivals, etc. We have a booth at the "Dogtober fest" every year. Like our regular events, any special activities will be announced in our Calendar and advertised on the homepage. A day In The City MPR occasionally take some dogs to the "Plaza" for a day of fun and socialization. The dogs wear a "Adopt Me Vest" and help us promote Pit Bull adoption by being great breed ambassadors in public. Who, When And Where? Our events are always announced in our Calendar and advertised on our homepage. We try to attend diverse locations all over Kansas city Metro. To inquire whether a specific dog will be attending an upcoming adoption event, please contact MPR at least two to three days prior to the event. Due to the number of dogs in our care we may not bring all of them to a single event.
