MPR
DOGS IN FOSTER HOMES
MPR
dogs are bailed out of shelters or taken from difficult situations
and placed in private foster homes where they spend several
weeks, and sometimes months, waiting for the "right"
home. MPR group believes it is important to match the right
dog with the right owner, and we keep the dogs as long as
it takes to find their perfect family. While in foster care,
the dogs are thoroughly evaluated, socialized, housetrained,
crate-trained, etc.
Note
that an evaluation is not a guaranty of the dog's future behavior.
The evaluation allows us to determine how the dog behaves when
introduced to certain situations while in foster care, and gives
us a good idea of his/her personality. CLICK

All dogs are vaccinated and on heartworm prevention according
to age.
Adoption fee is minimum $100.00 to cover cost of
spay/neut and shots.
PBRC application, homecheck and references are required.

DOGS IN BOARDING
The
dogs below are boarded in a kennel facility. They will be transferred
to a foster home as soon as we have an opening. In the meantime
they are kept in comfortable kennels, are exercised in play-yards
everyday, socialized, and well cared for - But it's not home.
Please consider opening your heart and home to one of them.

| The
three pups above are safe and currently in foster care. They are
fostered in a home with other dogs, cats and young children. They
are getting great socialization. The three of them have an excellent
disposition. They are crate trained and almost completely housebroken.
Pups are about 8 to 9 weeks old. Very stable. Real little wiggle-butts,
they love meeting new people and are very charming. MPR is covering
their medical care, hence the request for sponsors. MORE

The
pups above are still at the shelter and their days are numbered.
The shelter will stretch their time as long they can but will
have to euthanize them if they get full. Puppies were found
by a mailman in KCMO. They are about 7-8 weeks old. They were
starved and underfed but are doing much better now. They seem
to have been a little traumatized by their abandonment and will
require patient socialization. MORE
