Once again MPR is encountering big expenses and we could use a hand ... Please help us to help them ... We currently have a few dogs with medical needs ... not all of them are mentioned below. We're doing all we can to help them, but our little fund just can't keep up. We need your financial assistance in order to help each dog .... Please help us make a difference ... DATE: May 2006 Meet Baraka (means "blessed") ... We pulled this sad little gal 30 minutes before she was to be euthanized. How can you look into those eyes and not want to help her? A visit to the vet brought the sad news that we needed about $500.00 to cure Baraka of a bad case of that nasty heartworm disease and clear her mange up. Please help this sweet girl start her new life with a healthy heart, beautiful coat and healthy skin.... UPDATE: July 06 - Baraka is on the road to recovery. She had her HW treatment and is doing fantastic. Her coat is much better and she is smiling at life with all her little heart. Thanks to everyone who donated generously for her care. She is a veeeery deserving gal...

DATE: May 2006 Buffalo is another Heartworm positive dog so another $200.00 is needed to save the life of this very sweet boy. Buffalo deserves the chance to have a happy and pampered life. Please help us save his life.... UPDATE July 2006 - Buff is back on his feet and HW free. Thank you so much for all your help. This boy couldn't be any more grateful. |

Will you open your heart and please consider helping him ... ? Update: June 4th 2006: Sadly, we were not able to rehabilitate El dorado mentally and physically. We are glad that we gave him a chance at least and showed love and affection. So many Pit Bulls never get to experience that in their life. |

Won't you please consider helping him so he can finally have a chance to know what it's like to have a loving home and family... ? We are extremely grateful for any help you can offer towards the care and cures of these very special dogs. We certainly wouldn't be able to save the number of dogs that we have without the support that all of you have so generously given to us already.
