King of the road | King of the bed

Hi and happy new year. I hope you and yours had a good one. We stayed home and howled at midnight with the hound, stayed off the road for amateur night with the drunks. Champ has been exceeding our best estimates by 200% . He has made no messes in the cab at all and the only thing he bo-boed at was he went trashing in the trashcan in the cab, but he was bored I'll bet. I just wanted to let you know how well he is doing and will send you a letter later today to tell you a good p.r. story about Champ and the security guards at the G.M. plant in Grand Blanc Michigan. But that is later, I'm short on time for a little while. Thanks, Kevin and Champ

Kevin welcomes other truck drivers to contact him to share stories of co-pilot PitBulls, or to answer any questions they may have about adopting a PitBull as a co-pilot. Fee free to write him at: Brouillette Trucking Inc. or ICQ #118548762

"I'm ready! Let's go"

Yes, he is the same color as the truck!

Have a great life Champ, and please say hi to Blitz if ever you see him in a truck stop!

A big thank you to Tiffany and her family for saving Champ's life and giving him a chance to find forever happiness. Champ's foster mom saying goodbye.

If you are looking for a life long friend that just wants to be by your side, then this gorgeous boy is the one for you. Champ is named after the color of his coat. The color is actually called Liver but looks "champagne". It’s unique and beautiful.

Gorgeous Champ

Champ is a loving boy who has seen some hard times. He has some spots on his skin that look like bug bites. He is currently taking antibiotics to heal them up. He may have a mild birth defect or could have been hit by a car on his left side. Sometimes he walks with a wobble in his rear leg, but it's not very apparent and doesn’t slow him down one bit.

Comfy Champ | Happy Champ

Champ is very attentive to anyone who shows him love. He is rather happy just laying at your feet. He is responsive to both men and women, and doesn’t seem to favor either one. Just wants your loving touch. He isn’t pushy with his attention, just wants a little pat on the head and he is happy.

Champ Stand | Champ Sit

He is good with kids, not too pushy, but does have to give them a lick once in a while. He has not been around kids under the age of 6. With good supervision I don’t foresee him having any trouble with kids of any age. He could try and take food children might be carrying around though, so close supervision is always a good idea. He is food motivated, but loves to please without treats too. You can actually see him smile when you give him a treat. He sits most of the time on command, and responds well to the "no" command. He is okay on the lead, but does pull some when he gets excited. He rides great, and doesn’t bounce around in the car. Just finds a spot and curls up to sleep.

Beautiful Champ | Champ Cushion | Good Champ

He would be a great only dog, but could be placed with a very submissive female also, if the owner has experience with a dominant male. Champ is intimidating looking and could trigger a strong reaction with some dogs. He is dominant with the resident female in his foster home and since she is not a very submissive girl, they aren’t together unless strictly supervised.

Champ Sit | Flower Boy | Cute Champ

Champ seems to like the cat in his foster home. He will sniff her and then move away. The cat isn’t very dog friendly, so he just leaves her alone. I think he would be okay with an adult cat, but might be questionable with a kitten. If introduced with lots of supervision it might be okay.

"If you give me a treat, I'll give you a kiss..."

I can’t say enough nice things about this boy. He has really worked his way into our hearts after only being with us a few days. The amount of love that he gives so openly is amazing. This is the perfect dog for an older couple or person. He would also be good in a family setting as well, under the right circumstances. He has so much to offer the right person(s).
