Jolie ("Pretty" in French) was the victim of a terrible act of cruelty. Her ears were completely cut off from her head. It was done recently, and most likely without anesthesia. The vet believes the "home-made" surgery was done with scissors. "My little ears are gone" Jolie also has a few scars on the back of her neck, legs and chest. She obviously had a very tough life. How she can forgive humans and remain so sweet is beyond me... Laying down | Jolie Relax Jolie is very pretty despite her mutilated ears. Some of her expressions make her look like a little teddy bear. She also has an adorable personality. A real little princess her foster parents say. She tries very hard to fit in and is incredibly sweet. She is easy going in the house but loves to play with her doggie-friends in the yard. Nothing beats cuddling with mom or dad on the couch though.

With buddy Stone Jolie likes most dogs she meets but can be a little bit of a bully with some. An active, friendly and playful male would be a great match for Miss Jolie. Jolie will chase cats and small creatures. She needs a secure fenced yard and a home with no cats. She has great house manners and is very responsive. "Don't I look sweet"

Jolie needs an understanding and gentle owner who will help her realize that not all humans are monsters. She wants to believe it very much already, and tries so hard to win your heart. She is not easy to resist and this is why she was bailed out of the shelter despite her sad condition.
