Foster Situation: Liberty is in a TEMPORARY foster home. She needs a home or foster home ASAP.
Because she was spayed recently, Libby has not been introduced to other pets yet, but she wags her tail through the crate when other dogs get close to her. Maybe she does well with other dogs, maybe not, but right now she shows no aggression.
Liberty walks well on a leash, and is so well- mannered. She prefers to stay close to her loved-ones and craves attention. She likes to lie at your feet, and is very loving. She sleeps in a crate at night and likes the safety of her crate. She doesn't appear to be an escape artist. We would love to see her in a home where she can have all of the love and affection to herself, but she might also do well with another male dog.

Training: Libby knows Sit, Stay, and wait. I believe that she was trained to an extent.
Personality: Libby Loooooveesss company. She is outgoing but not pushy, and doesn't jump on people or do anything rude. I wish they were all like her! She is a cuddle butt, and likes to put her head in your lap and watch TV. I would call her energy level moderate to mild. She absolutely loves for us to get a laser pointer out in the evening for her to chase. She never gives up! What is the funniest thing is when she gets tired and goes for a drink, she puts her whole head in the water bowl and slurps. It's adorable! She seems to have a little prey drive, she did bark at a possum, but stayed where she was, and did not chase it. She is a little on the dominant side, and would probably be the top dog in her home.
Best Attribute: Libby is absolutely gorgeous!! Whoever has the patience for her belly to pull back up will be glad that they did! Her coat is unbelievably thick and soft, even after the wear of having puppies. She doesn't seem to have the typical pit bull skin problems common to blue dogs and seems very healthy. The best thing about her is her behavior though. She's just so well-mannered!
