| There isn't enough good things we could say about Melody. She's a gem..! a BIG gem. She is very friendly, loving, people-oriented, and absolutely beautiful. She thinks she is a big lap dog, and she loves belly rubs. Beautiful Melody | Cute Melody | Big Girl We found out about Melody when we were asked to rescue her puppies. We had a foster home for pups, but no room for a big adult female. So we had to leave Melody behind, knowing she only had a few days left at the shelter. We just could not forget her sad face as we walked away, so we went back to next day and bailed her out too. She is now in boarding, and our little rescue fund is melting. She needs a home ASAP. To our dismay, she tested positive to heartworms. Now that we are committed to saving her life, we will put her through the treatment. Heartworm treatment is expensive, but a complete recovery is expected. She is worth it! |

Melody has been introduced to some dogs and she does well with easy-going males. She enjoys people's company more than other dogs though, but can be playful with them too. She could be placed with a compatible laid-back male. As with any other Pit bulls, supervision is a must. Silly Face | Beautiful head | Serious Melody Melody looks very impressive with her massive head and stocky body, but she is just a sweetheart. She waggles her head when someone visits her, and she loves to give kisses. She might have some American Bulldog or Mastiff in her, as she is quite large for a female and she has a big Bully head. She should make a good guard dog. Big smile | Melody stand | Smiling | Sad Face Melody is strong and powerful, but she is easygoing and responsive. She is out of puppyhood and has developed her adult personality. She is vry calm and laid-back, and just a great dog. We have no doubt she will make someone a loyal and wonderfull companion. "Get me out of here...". | 'I wanta go home...." Update 07/03/03: Melody has been transferred to a foster home and is getting ready to begin her HW treatment. She enjoys the relief from the heat, and seems right at home in the living-room. Melody is indeed a great house-dog and no trouble at all. |
