Sweet Sisco was adopted

Poor Sisco lost her home in a divorce. She is very scared and sad to have been abandoned. Her ordeal is hard on her and she is timid with people she doesn't know. Once she trusts you though, she gives you her whole little heart. She will crawl into your lap and seek reassurance and love. Sisco needs a gentle, patient, and responsible owner, willing to work with her and help her realize that the world is not a bad place when you are loved and happy. Someone experienced with timid dogs is preferred. Silly Face As if this was not enough, Sisco has more strikes against her. She is a Pit Bull mix and not the most attractive dog, although we think she is very pretty. All you need is to look into her eyes to see the beauty in her heart. Like all Pit Bull mix though, her chance to find a home is limited. Those dogs are not enough Pit Bull for those who want a real one, and too much Pit Bull for those who don't want anything to do with this breed. That doesn't leave a lot of people willing to give dogs like Sisco a chance. Now go explain this to her.....

With so many strikes against her, Sisco is on a deadline to find a home. She just can't live in a kennel all her life, but nobody is even noticing her. Please give this girl a chance to prove herself before ruling her out. She is very loyal to those she trusts and will make the right owner a wonderful companion. UPDATE: Sisco was scheduled to be euthanized last week, but we are stretching her time. We feel she has made too much progress already, and we want to give her a little more time. We now know that she gets along great with other dogs. Their presence is actually helping her confidence. She could be placed with a nice and friendly male. She loves Midnight. Her behavior with people has also "greatly improved". She is no longer fearful of strangers, just a little reserved until she knows its ok to approach them. She is affectionate and likes to be petted even by people she doesn't know well. She continues to make daily progress and we are very pleased with her. We are confident that Sisco would do great in a home with responsible and caring owners. All she needs is love....
