Gorgeous
looking! Stone's outstanding look is what attracted our attention
when we first walked by his cage at the shelter. Then we noticed
how sad and scared he was and we decided to take him out for evaluation.
Stone was too shell-shocked at the shelter to tell us a lot about
his personality so we took him home for further evaluation.
"Give
me time, I'll come around..."
I believe the dog was not very well socialized with his previous
owner, and/or may have been abused and neglected. Hard to tell.
He is timid with people but seems to enjoy the presence of other
dogs. We are giving him the time he needs to warm up and he is
making great progress. Despite his shyness though, he is irresistibly
adorable.
Happy
Stone
Stone
gets along great with other dogs. In fact, we noticed quickly
that being with other dogs was improving his confidence. He has
bursts of joy when he's around them. He loves his foster companion
Pearl and they
are very cute together.
Stone
would greatly benefit to live with a friendly and outgoing female
dog.
