Hoss survived on his own for several months according to the neighbors who finally called a dog rescue organization to help out the poor dog.
Hoss was in pretty bad shape when we picked him up. All the fresh wounds and old scars were telling quite a story ... He was also underweight, full of parasites and had a bad skin infection.
With lots of love and good care, Hoss has turned into this gorgeous baby! We are very proud of him.

We always supervise him with the dogs though, and don't take for granted that he wont
pick a fight with them one day. At this point, he is quite predictable, and we have things under control. We do however, keep him separated from Treasure at all time.

He is also the most vocal dog I have ever seen! He will grunt his joy away when he is happy, and likes to bark at you for attention. We must always leave toys on the floor for him, as he loves to grab something in his mouth and carry it around like a trophy. Just like Peaches he has a great sense of humor and makes us laugh a lot.
