PITMOKS-L A Discussion List For Pit Bull Lovers in Missouri and Kansas

 

PITMOKS-L is a regional mailing list offered by MPR and dedicated to discussions related to Pit Bull type dogs - Subscription is free and opened to everyone in the Midwest with no age limit. The forum is a great place to meet other local Pit Bull lovers and to learn about the breed and responsible ownership. While PITMOKS-L is not a MPR list, the rescue organization regularly shares email with the group to educate the public and help people understand the Pit Bull situation in the region. People interested in becoming volunteers for MPR are recruited from this mailing list.

The list facilitates an exchange of knowledge and personal experience between Pit Bull fanciers and new or future owners. We expect conversations to remain polite and constructive and the list is moderated to ensure harmonious participation.

Even though we occasionally talk about the sad reality of dog fighting in order to understand the genetic background of this wonderful breed, PITMOKS-L members do not participate, encourage or support in any way this very cruel and illegal activity. Pro gamedog advocates are not welcome on this list. If your interest in the breed is limited or oriented towards matching, gametesting, rolling, or any other form of dog fighting, you will not find a sympathetic ear among the members of the PITMOKS-L.
